Armageddon Gear – Suppressor Mirage Cover

atacs_fg_armageddon_gear_IMG_9033

Armageddon Gear’s Suppressor Mirage Cover is designed to significantly reduce and delay the effects of suppressor mirage on the rifleman’s ability to identify and engage their target. A highly secure design stays in place during vigorous movement, however with the use of an integrated shock-cord it can also be adjusted or removed in seconds. The design insures that the outer Cordura nylon shell does not make contact with the hot suppressor during use. Note that the Suppressor Mirage Cover is not rated for use on fully-automatic weapons.

Available in A-TACS AU, A-TACS FG, Black, Coyote Brown, Foliage Green, MultiCam, and Ranger Green. Additionally, the Suppressor Mirage Cover can be ordered in custom sizes.

I think there’s a typo where it says “the design insures that the outer Cordura shell makes contact with the hot suppressor during use”. I’m certain they lined the cover with some variant of Nomex so that wouldn’t happen.

Other than multiple cam Bowers suppressor covers are excellent, use them my MK18 and MK20 and are def full auto capable.

As a Tactical sewer I have integrity and appreciate other sewers own and unique ideas! We are a some what small community. One thing is for sure among us and that is not to rip off other sewers hard work and R&D. This is a clear example of ripping off someones design! http://eliteiron.com/elite-iron-suppressor-wraps.html
Usually we all look out for each others exclusive designs and I’m sure Armageddon will be frowned on in our community!

Are you sure it is a new idea? They were making something very similar for stengun vi in forties.

I added the link to Elite Iron. That made there first Can cover 2 or more years ago! They just simply ripped it off with not even a spit!!! Of difference!
Either way I have seen superior versions of other companies can covers that in all honesty think are nicer and more practical. But Elite was the first I personally saw years ago with there signature design and more scrupulous tactical sewers knew better than just ripping them off and made there own design. But instead Armageddon ripped them off( a 2 year old design) that doesn’t say much for there care a R&D to new and cutting edge products! For that matter they might as well be a Chinese MFR. Since that’s all they do! SHAME ON THEM!!! MAKES companies like mine sick to my gizzard!

It’s obvious you haven’t actually seen either one of these in person. They aren’t the same. That is all.

looks pretty different then the one you linked…. shock cord and cordlocks vs. p-cord loops and 3-bar sliders.
yeah, it’s a cordura suppressor cover but how different are you really expecting them to get? that’s like accusing anyone who makes a mag pouch with a velcro flap of ripping off…somebody, who even knows? but I think Armageddon is pretty safe from mass frowning.

Well if you have the patent, this shouldn’t be a problem
