    Put enough targets on round

  2. Patrick says:

This is how I dismount my vehicle. Every. Single. Time.

  3. KEBERT says:

    “Thinking outside the box”

  4. Rearmount says:

HAHAHAHA that was painful to watch. Here’s his video rebuttal:

Oh wait, he was serious, let me laugh even harder

  6. BravoMike says:

Where do I sign up for his classes? Lol

I have been following this site for many many years now and out of respect and basic non douchebagery, have never left a single comment seeing as I am not Military or LE. But this really hurt my sensibilities. This has to be a joke right? Please tell me that this is not what someone is peddling as actual training.

  8. Bill says:

My solution when I find myself in a weird crossfire is called the accelerator pedal.

Nice truck though, it’d be a shame to put a hole in it.

I’ve heard that sights are good.

  9. Texas-Roll-Over says:

LOL, oh this video again, you must have been lost in youtube tactical channels at 0100 last night…

The endorsement of Crimson Trace is what prompted me to post it. It demonstrates that brands have zero control over what is said about them online and that even a compliment can hurt if it comes from the wrong guy.

      • PJ says:

I like the way he implies that he’s in with Crimson Trace by saying he’s “been able to use a lot of their products this year.” It’s worse for Crimson Trace than him endorsing them is his suggestion that they endorse him.

Isn’t there a video by this same instructor depicting how to properly dismount a vehicle and react to contact where he gets hung up on the seatbelt and falls out of the vehicle?

    • Bill says:

In all seriousness, I fight the seatbelt battle with cops all the time. “I might get ambushed and have to get out fast, so I can’t wear the belt.” Hence, cops die in crashes far more often than gunfights, let alone ambushes. Though this has been a bad year for cops getting dry-gulched.

I’m going to make my first million inventing a ripcord-like extended seatbelt handle that we can get over our tubby guts and poked down between the seat and console to where the latch is buried.

      • SSD says:

        That’s actually a good idea.

        • Strike-Hold says:

Maybe they should equip cop cars with a 4-point “speed-dial” QR harness like they have on Blackhawk helicopter passenger seats?

          • xpoqx says:

While I concur as this would seem like a no-nonsense upgrade to existing fleet vehicles, and imporve officer safety. Departments will still bitch, moan and complain that there isn’t any room in the budget for it… That and the fact that most of the LEOs don’t wear seatbelts anyways.

            • Bill says:

Last figure was that about 40% don’t wear their belts, and about 30% don’t wear their vests. I was pushing for a bulk buy of belt extenders, but there’s some debate about the way they change the geometry of how the belt fits and interacts with the airbags and other stuff I’m not smart enough to understand.

I like the idea of a 4 or 5 point harness, but then I’m no longer 23 and immortal and have been in enough crashes and been to enough wrecks, and funerals that I’d use it. The Boss won’t discipline troops who break the law requiring belt use; right now I’d be happy if they’d even snug themselves down with bungee cords.

Anyway, while I’m a huge believer in driving out of trouble, and it doesn’t apply to the mil vehicles most of you drive, we in LE and EP still need to study how much ramming our way out of problems we can do before popping airbags and automatic fuel shutoffs.

U.S. DOT would never allow it. You would spend millions going through their approval process. Not talking out the side of my neck on this. We went through it with them trying to get approval to turn a back seat sideways in a SUV to build a 4 wd SUV ambulance for a CBP project. No joy.

    • Ed Hickey says:

      LOL!

  11. JRide says:

I just watched this… My wife( disclaimer neither of us have any LE or Military training or back ground) setting beside me just blurted out ” Did he just get out of the truck and walk around in the middle of a gun fight?” (she understood this was a drill.) “He looks more like an acrobat…”

    Need I say more…lol

  12. Darth says:

Just goes to show you need to research who you give your hard earned money for the expectation of valuable training

  13. AC says:

Definitely didn’t learn that in the academy…

  14. Mike Nomad says:

After watching this video, I was temporarily blinded by the blistering sting of my Training Tears.

  15. Need range says:

I don’t care what anybody says, that guy is deadly. I almost had to get taken to the hospital I was laughing so hard I almost died.

  16. Jon, OPT says:

This is so fucked up, any competent tactician knows you need to pop the hood prior to entering the back of the truck in order to obscure your actions in the back seat.

    Jon, OPT

    • Jon,

Don’t forget that all legit “operators” like to throw their pistol on the ground prior to a ninja combat roll from the vehicle! Good thing he had enough targets on round before he dropped it.

      James

    • Airborne says:

Jon, real operators will just pop smoke before opening the trunk to remove their M4 (standard-issue with any Toyota Tundra these days) and then entering the vehicle via the back seat. Get your facts straight.

  17. GREAT STYLE says:

Does anyone have the video where the asian dude does kung and matrix shit on the range?

  18. Brandon says:

He was probably just tired from having to lug around all that ammo.
