They go through the effort of the dot matrix and they just scribble on the side. Chaos I say. Chaos.

I was contemplating getting a Ruger Gunsite Scout for my dad, but changed my mind to the Mossberg MVP after seeing the ridiculous prices on AICS-style mags. This…This may change my mind back again…

I tried both and bought the Ruger. As far as I know it is a Mauser type action. It seemed to be a better rifle all around. The Mossberg just felt cheap and the bolt was not as smooth or solid as the Ruger. Both had nice triggers though.

I’m very happy that I passed on the Mossberg MVP and got a Ruger Gunsite. The gun is more accurate than I am. The only thing I am going to change is the muzzle device. Looking at a Precision Armament M4-72 severe duty brake. It won a shoot out at:

I don’t want to spend a lot trying to find a brake. if this doesn’t work I’ll go with a BCM Gunfighter and call it a day.

I just picked up a Magpul 5 round today, it locks up better than the Ruger metal mag. I’m just waiting for the 10 rounders.

Have one of their 5 rnd AICS mags and look forward to this one if price point is not too significant. My steel AI mags are 86 bucks a piece. Contrary to any ball swallowing – some reputable LR shooters have mentioned problems with using these Magpul mags. Rather than drop knees and smoke sausage – I believe it is logical that custom built guns have tolerances intolerant of Magpul geometry. Since some on here chose to eat from my arse with a spork last time I mentioned reliability issues – I chose to buy one and see for myself. Price point is awesome!

I love you magpul, thanks for answering my prayers. I won’t get the use the 5rder I ordered until next month but if they run right I will buy a pile of these too.
