This looks like great gear, I am mainly a kydex guy but for my 1911’s there’s just somethin special with leather holster. My com0laint is with the leather holsters losing fit and retention after a while.

Anyone else experience that, is there a method to prevent that or just nature of the beast?

    • SShink says:

      Get a reinforced mouth holster.

    • PTMCCAIN says:

That’s the downside of leather, to be sure.

    • We are aware of those issues. Our partnership with Tannare has assured us there will minimal flex over time with the types of leather they use. You can expect to have matching suede and stitching, custom laser engraving, Blade Tech compatible mounting options, multiple rifle mag pouches outside of the M4 pouches you see here to include AK, custom impressions in the leather, various premium outer covers to give you the look you want (ostrich, gator, water buffalo (shown in back drop), and others patterns too). This is a tactical line I am actually vetting right OCONUS. I can promise you it will impress. Now full war belts that are not only comfortable but will last a life time and not destroy your clothes. Pricing will be coming soon.

WML leather without retention one of a handful I’ve seen-

Leather for holding pistols? Is this new…

    • Revolutionary, kidding. No seriously though we are just taking a different approach to allow for a more practical use of leather for both professional and private use. Kydex is a great material and we use it also but for long term use professionally I have found leather to be more comfortable and more forgiving to my clothing as well. We will be offering an entire war belt platform that accommodates a versatile platform to work off of.
In the end we want to ensure that we can bring leather back into fray as a viable platform for both professional and daily use by all users. This is why we have teamed with Tannare to produce long term and reliable leather products that will perform and when finished will look amazing as well.

Beautiful work. The cobra buckle leather gunbelt is an excellent touch.

    • Thank you Invictus, you will love what we have in store for the final products. These are just first run prototypes. Look for us at Shot Show, we will be located with Adams Industries.
