Not gonna say you’re wrong, but complaining that a summer action movie is derivative is kind of like complaining that rain is wet…

I suppose I am just an angry Californian but it kind of sickens me that many of the “pro 2A” companies will bend over backwards to gain exposure in the movie industry, the same industry that produces many pictures that advocate and downright exploit violence using a variety of firearms, often the same firearms that the same Hollywood types want to ban and use their money backing anti 2nd Amendment groups. I know you cannot put them all in the same category but it is well known most of Hollywood is anti-gun.

Just an idea, in exchange for weapon/gear supply and advisory work, whatever company or individual asked to work on the film throws in a clause that has the film studio make a PUBLIC donation to a 2A/veteran/first responder charity?

    • CWG says:

      Two things.

      1. Movie was filmed in Canada, set in China.

      B. In an industry filled with washed up seals and army counter intel tools, it is unlikely that anyone in a minor equipment/costume/movement advising gig is going to demand anything from a studio – especially not donations that would appear political.

      III. Chill.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isnt this dwayne guy anti-gun?
