    Really? What benefit does it have? Easier to flip to full auto? While ruining the developed muscle memory of going from safe to semi? And the switch position like the old MP5 safety… try disengaging that in prone without changing the grip….

    All respect paid to Geiselle, I loved the gas pedal idea. This is interesting, but I see no real merit. I might be short sighted tough.

      Had the same initial reaction about the MP5 safety, but where it is on the pictures it’s still pretty easy to access. That being said off the top of my head I can see this improving over other ambi safeties by keeping the safety lever from biting into the trigger finger on the other side, though I’d need to see a pic of the thing on fire (and full auto too why not) to be sure.

        As a wrong-hander, I can say that “A Guest” has it dead on regarding my trigger finger wrapping around the selector lever when on the trigger.
        Additionally, someone with shorter thumbs that have to overly break their grip to put the rifle back on “safe” with a traditional lever likely will not have to with this one, and it looks as if it will roll over the thumb when employed.
