Our message on this 100th anniversary of Veterans Day is pretty simple and like Remembrance Day, it goes for our brothers and sisters both here in the United States as well as our allies.
Thank you for your service, and please keep it up.
For those of us who aren’t serving, support those that do.
This is the uniform my Grandfather wore at the battle of the Argone Forrest. He was gassed but lived to return home to Boston. God bless all veterans today especially those from WW1
My mother’s father, Michal Kasprzyk of Glen Lyon, PA, came over from Poland (part of Russia at the time) in 1912, and fought with the 3rd ID at Chateau-Thierry (and possibly other places). He also was gassed and spent a few months in the hospital in London. Rest in peace to all of those old vets.
