Hill People Gear Releases New Light Series of Packs with qui-Ya Light

The qui-Ya Light is a 85 l pack that is also lightweight, at just 4 lbs.

Features:
-Dual full height 7075 aluminum stays
partial height removable HDPE framesheet
-500d Cordura on stress points
-330d Cordura elsewhere
-550 paracord side lacing compression on 3/4″ webbing tabs
-Dual 1″ over the top straps
-12x9x28″ main compartment secured with #10 ykk zipper and backed up by the over the top straps
-12x9x2″ top compartment secured with #8 ykk zipper and backed up by the over the top straps
-11x3x16″ back pocket with slot behind, secured with #8 ykk zipper and backed up by 3/4″ closure strap that’s long enough to secure a jacket
-girth hitch style bungy cord straps on back for securing trekking poles and similar items
-oversize slant cut wand pockets on each side

    Man all these alpinist inspired packs are the same, looks awesome, but put a loaded ammo can or two in them and they just smoosh down your back all the same.

      Greg, sounds like you’re a candidate for one of our “normal” packs – The Ute or standard qui-Ya. Guaranteed they’ll carry your ammo cans as comfortably as anything available. Unlike those, this “light” version is only intended for backpackers carrying normal backpacking gear.
