We loved and will miss our friend, Sheriff Larry Dever. This was a beautiful tribute to an outstanding individual. God bless his family.
I did not know Sheriff Dever but I heard a lot of good things about him from my good friend Sheriff Harold Eavenson who thought the world of him. God be with his family and our Nation.
What a great tribute to our good friend.
A fitting and accurate tribute to a fine man commited to his neighbors, our nation and to the rule of law.
Semper Fi, Larry.
Lou Kuttner.
This is such a wonderful tribute to Larry. We appreciated him and the tenacious work he for our county and state. We are proud to call him our friend.
Sheriff Larry, a true community leader, is the example who I will always hold as the best of the best. Larry lives on in the good work of his strong family and the many, many bonds of professionalism, friendship, and strength he formed through out Cochise county, Az. and our nation.

Amen!
A GREAT man has left us…..we do not know why God called Larry home….but we know he is in a better place and will be waiting for Nancy and the kids when it is there time……we are all just here on loan…..and MUST do all we can to keep this country strong…….go with God Larry….go with God.
Sheriff Dever was not a “politician” in the usual sense of the word–he stood up for the Constitution and did not buckle under the criticism of leser men–
We are diminished by his death.
Larry stayed in the fight until the end. Rest in Peace my Friend
I am humbled. We have suffered an extreme loss. Thank you for this and for sharing this on our beloved Sheriff. He has left us and we must carry on his work … put those in place who will see to it. Honor our hero by continuing his legacy.
Happy Birthday Larry! This is an incredible tribute to a very deserving man.
A true western Sheriff. A man of integrity and compassion who never said maybe but instead said how.
We lost a great friend and public servant. I has been our privilage to have known Larry and know his wondeful Wife and family
Of course, invading other peoples’ countries is perfectly OK, right? And when they fight back THEY are terrorists, right? Anyone who is not born in America is an illegal alien, right? We don’t all share this planet, right? We’re not all just human beings, right? It’s us and them, right? Gotta kill ’em if they cross your border, right? And all the time yelling “Praise the Lord!” Right? Better hide in the basement with your AK-47…aliens are coming! What a bunch of ignorant morons!
I only met Larry briefly, but to me it was immediately evident that he was a dedicated sheriff and true family man. His sudden passing in the prime of his life, is shocking and saddening. I know he will be extremely missed, and feel he will always be honored. This tribute truly celebrated the birth and life of an impressive man.
Nancy, may God keep you and your family close to Him now and forever.
We worry about borders “all over the world” and cannot even maintain our own! Thanks for all your service, Larry and may God Bless us as we carry on this sacred mission that you have struggled with…
Thanks for all your dedicated years of service . What needs to be said and done to to support you in this great cause needs to be done and not just talked about….may your family be blessed for your great service.
