The Best I’ve Seen

I don’t often fall prey to Internet memes but this own spoke to me. Finding its inspiration from WW II British morale posters, it’s been modernized a bit.

What do you think?

Me likie, but it needs a 240B/GPMG to be perfect!!!!

  2. Panzerhund0311 says:

Yeah!! Needs to be the next Milspec Monkey patch, shirt and decal!!

  3. BradTFA308 says:

Aimed fire, if you are calm your fire should be aimed. KISS. Yes on the GPMG. My favorite, to shoot.

  4. Lucky says:

It should be amended with the GPMG or as we call it 240B, that is my favorite to shoot, plus, if you carry it long enough, you get pretty darn strong, its a beast!

  5. Awesome says:

Just make the d— shirt already. I’ll take two.

I like it just the way it is. It’s straight to the point. You start adding stuff and the message gets watered down, people start thinking about what gun they wish was there instead, when it’s not about what gun, it’s about mindset.
    I second the MSM patch.

  7. Matt says:

While MilspecMonkey is the furthest I can think of about keeping calm, the slogan itself calls for a patch especially its 30 years from Falk

  8. Mojo Tactical has a sweet patch that says keep calm and open carry.

  9. Chris says:

This morale poster has been abused and done to death recently in the UK with the most popular version saying ‘Keep Calm And Carry On’ and it is sold it literally every high street store throughout the country.
I’m sick of seeing the bloody thing!

    • SSD says:

It has shown up here as well.

      • Ex-St. Paul Resident says:

An photo/meme website “theChive” uses it as their slogan, “Keep Calm & Chive On”. They put it, and other variations, on t-shirts, mugs, etc.

    makeashirtmakeashirtmakeashirtmakeashirt

(this is a spoof of the keep calm and carry on slogan, Chris- it’s making fun of it)

    • Chris says:

Yeah I realise that but I’m sick of seeing ‘Keep Calm And *……..*’

*Enter Your Own Bullshit Phrase Here*

It started out with posters etc with the original slogan but what I’m saying is you now see it plastered everywhere in the UK with all sorts of iterations.

Not that it matters at all but I couldn’t believe it when I made my daily visit to SSD and it was here as well 🙁

  12. Erick says:

Well, it’s a lot like ” Keep calm and Chive on”….I think “Got Guns” would have made me feel the same. Thechive.com KCCO!
