If you are looking for a back up compass, then the Cammenga Tritium Wrist Compass is a great option. Featuring a machined aluminum casing paired with with 10-degree phosphorescent graduations enhanced with Tritium Micro Lights the wrist compass is visible in total darkness. The Tritium is maintenance free for over ten years. The compass comes mounted on a nylon wristband but if you’re the kind of guy who would get one of these, you’ll probably want to swap that out.
