It’s been a no jump kind of weekend. Hopefully next weekend will be better.
Picture kinda weirds me out … it was common to have a finger on the trigger BITD, but vertical fore grips were a tad rare.
ATB someone “adjusted” the rifle in Airborne’s hands.
Damn left wing media!! Probably to make it look more evil.
I think he’s holding onto the buttplate (M1A1 w/folding stock).
Indeed – the folding buttstock was even designed so that the buttplate could be used as a vertical foregrip when it was folded.
When it gets to where you think the “media” is photoshopping antique posters to make M1 Carbines look “evil,” it’ s time to talk to a professional.

Not to mention, his finger is nowhere the trigger (he’s grasping the magazine).
The days of airborne troops is long gone. Last divisional combat jump in 1945. Get rid of the 82d Airborne.
Really? Not being paying attention to Mali then…
Please enlighten us with your strategic knowledge and explain how else you would seize a landlocked airfield without an airborne assault?
its always a jump day when the pathfinders screw up the wind speed reading at the DZ
