Though Memorial Day should be a sober time to remember our fallen, celebrate their lives and decorate their final resting places, it has also evolved into a day second only to Veteran’s Day when it comes to remembering all of those who have served this Nation.

Two of the founding three Legion Firearms staff are combat-disabled veterans. Over a third of our full-time employees are veterans. As one might expect, all of us have friends, family and comrades we will remember this Memorial Day weekend and we urge everyone to remember the little things—do more than make a Facebook post or send a patriotic Tweet. Anyone can do that. Not everyone will go to the cemetery and plant flags, or visit the local VFW and American Legion and give your regards. Ensure your children, friends and coworkers know the history and intention of the holiday.
