By now, our friends in Australia and New Zealand are well into their ANZAC Day activities, remembering those that served going back to the original ANZACs and World War One’s Battle of Gallipoli.
Join us now, as our thoughts turn to our Coalition partners from Australia and New Zealand, past and present.
I am currently in New Zealand today and I have never seen such Patriots giving respect to Australia & New Zealand, but also the United States as the US Flag is flying as well as the Union Jack . The children and grandchildren march with their fallen Veterans medals.
Lest we forget
fair dinkum mates!
What’s a proper and polite greeting/ salutation on ANZAC day?
It’s most certainly not “Happy ANZAC Day”
Its “want a beer mate?”
Thanks for this.
Cheers,
Scathsealgaire
We will never forget these brave souls! God bless you and keep you.
Here’s too our fallen New Zealand and Australian warriors: WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan/Iraq. ANZACS – Brothers in Arms. Never let that be taken away by the separatist politics attempting to individualize our nations currently.
