Weird how they have a horrible BBB.
I did business with them once a few years ago. Never again.
I got a shotshell pouch that was horribly misassembled and had a sling and two pouches fall apart the first time I used them.
I just made my second purchase with BDS, and I left a review of the product. I have yet to see my less-than-stellar-review of the item show up on their site (it was a wrist pouch for the foretrex401, and like the chest rig I bought from them previously, it just felt WAY overbuilt).
They also send you an email every few days telling you how far along in the process they are… For a mini-GPS wrist pouch, I’d rather have NOT rec’d the updates and just had them bust it da funk out.
As a manufacturer I wouldn’t share unfavorable reviews. If you were in business would you?
As to the other point. Amazon has spoiled everyone. There are customers, who spend copious amounts of energy harassing companies because they don’t receive a daily update on the status of their order.
They were a pain in the butt to deal with. Sent me something the wrong size. Instead of sending me a new one, they just cut it down and it looked like hell. Ended up taking 6 months to get what I originally ordered. Every time I called I got the same guy who just seemed angry at the world and me.
