My mom had a successful double lung transplant at Duke University on Easter Morning. It’s a hard road waiting on the list and its even harder post-op, but the results are a blessing. Patience, intestinal fortitude, love and faith will get you through. God be with you and yours, Travis.

Early this morning Travis received the liver that he needed. We are very grateful for this blessing and also understand that the result is a family now is without a loved one. Thank you to the donor and his family. Please read this and know the gravity of checking the box to become a donor, that small action will now make it possible for a great father, husband and brother to survive.

Thank you SSD family and thank you all for the thoughts and prayers.
