I gotta say, I’m a big fan of these two new limited edition patches from Australia’s Platatac.

Unfortunate that in the firearm restricted republik of Australia, Platatac found it necessary to crop the shotgun from Max’s hand on their patch. Max was carrying the shotgun in his left hand for an abundant amount of time in the scene from which the patch is derived.

    A very cool patch, none-the-less!

In that particular shot, the shotgun was still holstered. So it was never cropped out.

Check his left hand…cupped as if holding the shotgun. Plus the shotgun was always in his hand with dog walking on his left side.

About 10 frames after the pic I posted is where the image for the patch was lifted, Max does not holster the shotgun for some time.
Yes, I’m a Mad Max fan! No rules days!!!

Principle Photography man. They take pictures while filming is going on and in between scenes. This strikes me as a photograph taken rather than a still frame from the finished film.

      • STFU_Donny says:

Did you even look at the picture I linked to? I guess not.

        • Advmoto18 says:

I did Donny, but, don’t rely on a Google search of Mad Max images…to many reversals…

          From a Google search….

I guess you will need to watch the movie to ascertain the accurate image.

All you have to do is look at which side the wrench is hanging from on his belt to see that the patch is based off of the picture Donny posted. It doesn’t matter which is the screen accurate image, that’s the one they used. You can even see the butt of the shotgun in the holster on the patch.

          • STFU_Donny says:

The shotgun grip is obvious in both the picture I posted and the patch. It was never cropped out. Perhaps there is some disconnect between your eyes and your brain?
BTW, consider that the photo might be a production photo rather than a still frame from the movie itself. Which makes neither the patch or the photo any less valid.

I wouldn’t read too much into it, you can actually just about see the silhouette of the shotty on his right.

    …… I don’t get the second one….

  5. Roberto says:

@CAVstrong…It’s a Bantha skull used by Boba Fett on his shoulder. I think its supposed to be seen as “Bantha-man” (instead of Batman).

Someone state side needs to get a batch of these!

  7. Ed says:

Looks like Rorschach Test ink blot.

Use your imaginations on what it looks like.
