This is perfect, Like you said, can’t get easier.
Everyone who reads this need to post it on their own sites and social media pages, break all the fax machines.
Outstanding!
Done.
Thanks SSD.

Done, along with a fax from the Mrs.
While I really like the motivation and unity the firearms community has displayed recently, I think this template is bad for two reasons:
1. Its far too technical. It needs to be in the form a policy “brief” that a ninth grader could understand. Seriously- legislators don’t know what V-max or level IIIA body armor is, and they don’t care. Dumb it down so the average non-gun person can get the point you’re trying to convey.
2. Templates aren’t personal and are easily written off by some staffer that reads all the mail. Write an original letter to your legislator that demands an original response. This way you’re less likely to be written off as someone who is just spamming 500 copies of a letter to anyone who will listen, and you might get a real response from your legislator to boot.
Just my two cents as someone who works in government. Oh, and if the people who want to “pardon” Ed Snowden can get 160K signatures, we can get 100K at least 😉

Thanks! I’ve added my signature to the petition and I took George’s advice and shotgunned both links to everyone on my personal rolodex.
But I have to admit that I am also a little surprised that more people haven’t been hitting this topic already.

Thanks for that. I’ve been delaying because I wanted to formulate an educated letter and VSO’s was exactly what I was looking to do.
Thank you SSD
