Called this evening and they they were only stocked with large sizes and not some of the common medium sizes.
I thought about sending a pic of the store shelves. Looks somewhat promising.
Cool! I remember those aisles well. Ironically enough I also remember that (circa mid-2010) they had placards at the checkout counters stating something along the lines of “we don’t sell Multicam name tapes – please ask your unit supply if you need them”.
Looks like a much better stock than what we (predictably, based upon the phase-in schedule) have here at Fort Sam Houston. They have one section of one wall where you can get some unit patches but that’s about it. And, naturally, they don’t have my unit’s patch so I’m stuck until they churn some out. UCP ACUs for the time being!

Yeah, we have a battalion flag casing ceremony tomorrow because only the SMAJ and BC are deploying (WTF seriously??!!) so we’re forced to wear UCP.
I’d be ready to go tomorrow but I couldn’t find my sewing supplies so I had to take my stuff to the local sew shop, who won’t have it ready until the weekend… It’s two hats. How hard is that to do?!?! Mildly annoyed, my UCP ACUs are looking pretty ragged.
You COULD have just bought new thread and needles from them and done it yourself.
Had great success in coloring my patches as mine won’t be done for ages. Used a gold dye pen (really) followed by an expo wet wipe yellow pen for the inside. Used a silver dye and yellow expo for piping. Many UCP patches died in getting you this information…
I hope I can get a couple sets of small regs before they get sold out.

There hasn’t been any guidance as to what color the flag should be. I see 2 pictures; one with a subdued flag and one with the full color, which is it?
Common sense man- garrison is full color; deployed either subdued or IR. If your command says otherwise, do as they say.
I’m standing in line at Bragg. They open early and there are already over 100 people in line. For all in airborne land no SL or LR tops and no SS, ML, LR, LL, XLL tops. The first two Soldiers in line got here at 04. Now that accountability formation is over the line is out the door

sorry fat fingers on the iPhone SL and LR were bottoms but when I left at 08 they had been pretty much run dry on everything. One dude bought 2 boxes of tops and bottoms. Expect them on eBay tomorrow with a 200 percent markup

Already rockin’ the FRACUS in OCP. The unit is at about a 60% UCP to 40% OCP ratio today.
