SureFire is now offering a branded protective phonecase for Galaxy S5 and iPhone 6/6S smartphones. Made of high-density polycarbonate, the SureFire Phone Case is shock-absorbing, and is designed to serve as a secure mount for an as-of-yet unannounced SureFire product. My money is on a light and I don’t get very often.
Confirmed – This will be paired with the 1500 lumen SureFire FirePak illuminator/phone charger.

A Surefire Selfie Stick?
wtf
Please, no…
If you’re on SureFire’s distro list, you may have received a survey about said product to come.
I’m predicting a wristband, seeing as watches are all the rage with them
They have lost their way…
thats for sure
Totally agreed.
Yawn. Not even worth the post on SSD
Looking forward to seeing where this goes.
My god, it’s so ugly.
Meh, I’ll stick with my Magpul field case for light duty use and whip out the Otterbox or Pelican for more extreme situations.
Have you had issues with the Magpul case loosening up as you take the phone in and out?
It does occasionally happen after repeated on and off, but I just drop it into boiling water for a few seconds and it shrinks back into place.
Caveat– just the phone case itself, not phone + case. 😉
Rock solid in the magpul bump case.
Actually, yes quite a bit. I’ve been through 3 of them for that reason
Had Magpul cases on my old iPhone 4, Galaxy S4 and now Galaxy S5 and never had any of them loosen up, love the Magpul case!

There must be a way of attaching either a new or existing Surefire light to this case.
Or something
Given that most phones have flashlight function, albeit a weak one, I don’t know why they’d do that, unless it would be a tie-in to the Sidekick or Titan series.
1500 lumens.
They can literally go self-fornicate if they come out with another “Amazon Only” product.
I think this might be it.
Surefire has always been one of our first orders of SHOT show… This year, I’m not even scheduling an appointment.
Spending that time looking at innovative new brands.
They want Amazon, they can have Amazon. The writing is on the wall.
I don’t know man, they still won multiple SOCOM contracts with pretty good products…
They have also lost plenty of military contracts both domestic and international due to incompetence at the highest level and lack of competive pricing and screwed their dealers to boot.
SureFire could write a book on how not to run a company.. Very sad..
How are they going to fit a 123A battery in that?
