As a dude who spends his life in/on a wheelchair. I am looking at these and thinking. Wow, maybe now I won’t ram my knees into random object. Such as table tops or countertops. But then I thought. Wait it adds more height to my knees. So, I was either rip my jeans really bad, rip the pad out. (Sounds like a period joke there.) Or worse end up ripping the jeans cutting my legs and getting blood all over everything. I don’t know which is worse.
I bet there are plenty of people hating on this photo that have practiced “low-vis” or “reduced signature” assaults wearing denim/active/hiking clothes…with their normal full kit +helmet over it. I know I am one.
I’m with Iceman, people just need to laugh sometimes…
It’s not just the last picture that is funny, its the fact that someone made a 4 picture tutorial out of it, complete with picture effects that gets me laughing.
I imagine right now, there is some poor guy in the SPECOPs S-4 section desperately trying to get a MIPR through so they can outfit their team in this latest “gray man” gear.
All bullshit and shittalking aside this could be pretty good if they would used a sturdy leather or heavy denim. To me as of now it just looks like some kind of Cosplay play shit.
With the way I wore down the knees of jeans as a teenager, I could’ve really used these!
…Get your minds out of the gutter! I used to help my dad install computer networks and electrical wiring – it involved a lot of crawling around on the floor.
Kneecaps and jeggings… gray stuff on the ceiling is what is left of my brain.
I can only hope that a bedazzled IBA flap/codpiece is next on the agenda.
That’s strangely appealing.
Who is going to do it to their running tights?
Is that what we call casually tactical? Or tactical casual operator pants?
If only he could have gotten the stretchy stuff around knees and backside…
is this so the hipster can blow his friend without messing up his tight jeans?
LOL exactly what I was thinking. those knees ain’t used to work.
I forsee a Carhartt + Crye mod in the very near future.
A pair or two of Kuhl Rydr pants may or may not have been through Suky’s tailor shop…
I worked in a place where there was a guy that had Carhartts modified like this. Cryehartts?
This had to come from an airsoft fan page… this looks exactly like something some BB commando would come up with.
The waist looks smaller than 44″ so that is doubtful.
Oh….good one!
Your low vis training is complete, go forth and remain undetected…
Now I just need a denim Mayflower IV and I’m set.
Canadian tactical tuxedo
Complete that with a flannel shirt ( Geary Dinner Jacket if your from New Brunswick ) and your set.
“Where’d you get the Canadian Tuxedo? Denim Dan!”
I was wondering what to do with my old jeans. Now I know.
Some people have no sense of humor. Haha
There was an Asian airsoft manufacturer, I believe it was TMC, who made a complete Crye Jean Knockoff, same pocket configuration. in denim.
…and if there was anything other than size 28/30 available, I’d have gladly paid the shipping…
Most folks commenting on this site nowadays cannot see something posted and say HA! that’s some funny shit right there.
They either have to take it literally and comment that- some dummy airsofter did this so that he could look tactical
OR WORSE-
Not bad, I could use some jeans like that to work around the house in
Sometimes its just satire people. Just laugh at it and move along.
Iceman gets it
He could be my co-pilot any time.
He wears you down. You get bored and do something stupid…
So was this a T Rex Arms new product release?
You sir, win the internet
LOL. This! Nailed it.
Gucci has seen this. Just wait for their 2017 Field Denim Pants edition.
You may laugh at those now, but they’re closer than most of you “WTF?-ers” would like to believe.
And don’t think for a moment Ralph Lauren designer hasn’t see this too…their $300 jungle field pants from the 90-es are long overdue for an update.
😉
Diesel lifted the design for Crye’s Field Pant pretty much stitch for stitch in ’07 or ’08.
Diesel Tactical Denim?
I must have missed that one, somehow….
I used to know a girl who would find herself ‘at home’ in one of these.
What it cost SSD?
He swears it wasn’t him.
Lol
I see what you did there 6.8…..
For the operator operating casually versus operating operationally.
Hipster garbage.
The blue simunition paint scuffed on the caps indicates that this is entirely a HOMESTA/ADMIN type shenanigan…

When you wanna be casual but Crye is life.

Ill take two sets.
HAHA! One of our customers sent a picture of presumably the same person wearing these pants near a military base in Australia.
LOL…ir had to be ome of you Aussies…hadn’t it ?

Matrix bait! 🙂
Pair it with that denim plate carrier and you’re all set…
