You asked for it, so we shared it again. Last time it was so popular the ATF tried to get us to sell them car bombs after we posted it.
Finally, a Car Bomb that you’ll be happy to see. We’re passing this along after hearing from a reader who gave us one of the best lines we’ve ever heard.
My Honda no longer smells like CIF and Dog Puke.

He went on to say, “This thing removed the sweaty ass scent of professional soldiering and parenthood that infests almost any dude’s car/truck/minivan.” After reading that, we decided to share the info on this wonder product with our readers.
The CLO2 Chlorine Dioxide generator pouch treats an area up to 1,000 cubic feet to eliminate the odors caused by mold, mildew, pets, food, smoke and more. Even better, it doesn’t try to mask odors, leaving you with a perfume smell. In fact, the manufacturer recommends its use to rid yourself of those odors.
While you shouldn’t use it while people or pets are in the car, it is people and pet safe and frequently used in public water systems, hospitals and food processing facilities to disinfect and sanitize. Sorry guys, not available in Canada or Europe.

Sorry, baby hit enter before I could type. The link in the article links to company but not product.
I still need to get one of these.
Good ole CIF… and all of that awesome Vietnam era gear.. no matter what or where that smell will remain and remind..
User tips:
1) the same product is also sold as the Boat Bomb at West Marine, only with different packaging
2) Two of them suffice to do high volume vehicle like a Suburban or Van with a lot of upholstered surface
3) They take time to REALLY do the trick. Throughly clean and vacuum the interior of cheetos, old fries, and “What the hell was this?” from the carpets first. Remove and pressure wash mats on the driveway. Wait for hot weather, then follow directions and put them in a Friday night or Saturday morning. Leave them in full sun all weekend. Then, drive to work on Monday with the windows down after airing for 20 minutes. Be amazed at the “non smell”…almost a void of background aroma.
These were being talked about at a recent police trade show. They said you could leave your boots, armor, etc in the car and deodorize along with the rest.
Police units and military ones should look at getting ozone cleaners like they use for sports gear.
