MDM – Federal Resources Hosts Shoot House Contest

How good are you at clearing a room? Test your skills in the Federal Resources Shoot House Contest during this week’s Modern Day Marine Expo at Quantico, Virginia.

Experience the ‘Survitec Shoot House’, a live, realistic battle scenario courtesy of Survitec Group Ltd and Federal Resources.

Each participant will be timed as they grab a training pistol and clear the rooms while hitting specified targets – be the top shooter of the day and claim your prize. Then swing by their CBRN Lab to test your detection knowledge.

Assuming the contest is based on time and hits on target, it would be wrong to judge someone as “the best in room clearing” if he’s flying through the course USPSA style since you have “GOD MODE ON” and can’t be killed in the game. It does sound really fun though.

During the Gunsite GAS match they would have a subjective shoot house side match. Time and hits on targets were factors, but tactics was considered by the people judging it.

Can I just get a bag full of hand grenades and clear the rooms Soviet style? 😛
