FFS people, learn to reverse image search. This is a combat camera crewman (woman, person, meat-popsicle?!?). 30 seconds of googling and you can figure stuff out. Yes, his rifle is ate the f—- up but lets cut the dude some slack.
Don’t you know everyone on here is delta cag marsoc seal devgru operators with 20+ years spec ops experience so everyone else is insignificant (apart from everyone who suports and enables there super secret ops) and they know everything and are tactical superstars who have ever made mistakes and never went though training they just knew everything from birth.
I think it’s pretty obvious this is dude is in the more junior stages of training. I’m sure all the badass warriors leaving comments here were straight tier-1 lead slingers the first time they picked up a rifle and did some shooting drills.
I don’t see anything wrong. Tied down is better than losing a piece of equipment He’s probably issued that equipment and only goes to the range 2x a year if he’s lucky. I wasn’t there so I can’t “Friday night a few beers deep” quarterback what’s going on. Who give’s a shit anyway?
The amount of shit going on about emote eotech “shift” is amazing, it must be really bad so bad in fact after years and years of combat I’m surprised anyone who used them in combat is still alive
Half my units Eotechs broke in less than a year overseas or experience some sort of issue while in use. Almost everyone switched to ACOGs or Aimpoints.
I don’t think that’s milsim…looks real to me… God, who else remembers the BS dummy cord rules of BIG Army??? this would make whomever came up with that shit wet themselves… fucking A
Bailing wire and duct tape fixes all.
Yeah I’m marine ranger seal, can’t you tell I’m with shit by my Oakley’s and SBR?
Please tell me these are BB guns, dude behind him in the same stance and errything.
ITS AIRSOFT. THE XPS3 AND MAGNIFIERS TAN COLOR IS OFF
There is nothing soft about that tribal arm band.

What’s wrong with the rifle?
Sure he’s got lots of zip ties, but most use gutted paracord so it’s not unique or odd to tether all your stuff.
Foregrip, yet clutching for dear life unto the magwell.
He’s kneeling. Kyle Defoor recommends grabbing the magwell when shooting from a kneeling position.
These are combat camera. Cut them some slack.
Agreed. This reeks of picking on the little guy who doesn’t know any better…and isn’t even a shooter as his primary job.

^ this, this as fuck, some one get this man a beer.
I’m pretty sure a spider did his tie downs for him
Vertical grips are a crutch. So are 2-point slings…
Attack of the killer fobbits. I wonder if he’s running an extra mag pouch on his buttstock that blocks his charging handle.
The “Force Protection” Mag that protects the rest of the force from FF?

There is the correct way to use safety-wire to secure your accessories to your weapon, and a wrong way to do the same…
That photo is full of wrong.
Blame poor instruction/supervision
Why don’t you personally knife hand the guy and fix him then, Gunny?
Really took the EoTech “shift” to heart…

So I guess you still have yours?
Yup still going strong 6 years in 4 Middle East tours no dramas

Equipment husbandry, look after your kit and your kit will look after you

Concur, this is exactly what I was thinking
Other than the uniform a Sgt Mayor’s wet dream right there
all he heard was bla bla bla eye pro and don’t lose nothing….
The wire, tie down, dummy cord, knitting yarn shit is covering the objective lens of the eotech.
I don’t think so. Looks like it’s just routed between the lens and the protective shroud.
Aye, I second
