    Damn…that ladder looks medieval! I’m guessing the spikes are to keep people from grabbing the ladder and throwing it overboard.

    i doubt it. they appear to be designed to improve purchase on some surfaces where you can’t get the hooks around an edge. they probably also work well as glass breakers when you want to get inside a window.

    highly recommend visiting their website, it’s an interesting and well-thought out system.

    What a great surprise, just a small note, the ladder with this MOE hook is mainly design for buss, tram or train assault and is not for maritime use (they will sink:)
    Of course you can use’em on normal windows as well but brakes the side windows on the bus, train and tram very well.
