Yeti – LOADOUT Bucket

Yep, it’s an injection molded 5 gallon bucket from Yeti, made from the same material as their durable coolers. It’s not insulated but what it does have, is a grippy rubber bottom and will support a load of 300 lbs. Accessories include a utility belt, an interior caddy and a watertight lid.

This is the Desert Tan version, but there are other colors will be available as well.

Coming this Fall.

    Everyone needs a $300 5 gallon bucket

  2. Kit Badger says:

Do they come in pairs? For 600lbs. Farmer Carries…

  3. Dellis says:

300lbs? If you was haulin something that heavy why use a bucket and not a wheelbarrow?

It will sell I am sure cause it’s a “lifestyle” item but just seems overkill considering a home depot bucket can be free when you fill it with store items at checkout

    • SSD says:

You can put 300 lbs of weigh on it without it collapsing like a black hole.

      • Dellis says:

Point taken, I misread a load, not a carry of 300lbs.

So, my 280lb plus plumber may get one for Christmas to carry his crap in…dude is always standing on stuff he shouldn’t!

        • SSD says:

You can carry 300 lbs in it too, but I’m not really seeing the reality of that.

  4. Thomas Madere says:

If it has Yeti on it someone will buy it for that reason alone.

  5. Stefan S. says:

Home Depot bucket rattle canned khaki with gamma lid. Much cheaper.

    • SSD says:

It’s not for you. Yours will collapse under more than about 150 lbs, the handle will fall off and will slip on wet surfaces.

I’m surprised you didn’t decide to use a pickle bucket you got for free from the grocer.

      • JKifer says:

        hahahahahah…. holy fuck…..

      • Thulsa Doom says:

Pickle buckets are $2 at Firehouse Subs. However, there’s a place for heavy duty buckets, especially when used as ersatz stepstools.

  6. Don says:

Food grade plastic though. I could imagine a BBQ pit master getting some use out of this. Might end up being a gift for my dad…

  7. Mr.E.G. says:

Not being a jerk, but what is this thing for?

    • Dellis says:

It might be good for boat owners/fisherman with its rubber bottom?? It has an interior caddy so maybe holds lures, line and stuff?

    • SSD says:

It’s a bucket. If you don’t understand what a bucket is for I suggest you look into a thing called manual labor.

      • JHP says:

Bwahaha! I think you may have a frustrating evening ahead of you differentiating between cost and value. Unless you’re a glutton for frustration.

  8. Hubb says:

Range bucket!!! Carry pistols, ammo, and targets without them getting wet. Use the bucket as a seat at the bench. Nailed it…

  9. FlapJack says:

I just want one full of 9mm, one full of 5.56, one full of 308. And maybe a Homer bucket of 12 Ga slugs, and another Homer bucket of Buck.

  10. justin murphy says:

2.00 gets you the same thing @ Firehouse subs what kinda knucklehead would buy this.

    • SSD says:

Well, it doesn’t, and it’s red and smells like pickles. The smell never goes away. Plus, it crumples under heavy weight, the handle falls off and it slips on wet surfaces. But, by all means, use your red pickle bucket.

  11. UlfberhtSoup says:

Holds 300 pounds of stupid comments or a 300 pound stupid commenter.

  12. Mark says:

I don’t own anything made by Yeti, and I am not one of their fan boys, however, I will highly likely buy a couple of these.

It looks like they have a lot of practical and emergency uses.

I am interested is setting one up as an emergency toilet, and another one for shooting range use.

I hope that they will consider a Blaze Orange color option, in the future.

  13. JKifer says:

how has everyone failed to see the fishing application here… this is a fishermans best brined here..

  14. CallMeShooter says:

Does it come in a left handed version???

$40 for a tough food grade bucket isn’t bad.

    • cy says:

Sorry, they are right hand only. Customer service said if there is enough demand they will start making a left hand version.

  15. Callmespot says:

27 posts about a bucket? Fellas you have to get out more often! But please say pickle bucket a few more times because that makes me laugh.

    • SSD says:

It’s really funny when you have a patrol of Boy Scouts who can’t get the pickle smell out of their buckets, or the crap they stored in them.

    • Dellis says:

      Pickle bucket

      Pickle bucket

      Pickle bucket

  16. AlexC says:

    It comes in Blue right?

Reminds me of this internet picture: http://static.fjcdn.com/pictures/Mah_2518ac_272122.jpg

  17. Steak TarTar says:

holy shit this is perfect for my 300 lb pickle

  18. Greg says:

Needs a toilet seat accessory. Sure you could go get one of your choice from home depot, but an official yeti toilet seat, that’s something special. lol

  19. Ben Brubaker says:

5gal for 300lb! Wow. I just nerded out on this. 300lb/5gal=0.25lb/cubic inch.

The density of steel is 0.28lb/cubic inch. To get 300lb in this bucket you would basically have to fill it with steel shot!
