The initial weapon of mass destruction, during the founding of our country, was a Cannon loaded with grapeshot. These weapons were owned by individuals, and the constitution was written to reflect this. There is nothing within the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution which validates the NFA, permits, or other forms of legalized weapon discrimination.
