I carry the “Hot Tamale” coin purse from “Mean Gene Leather” for the very same reason. It has probably logged over a half million flying miles and absolutely no one has ever questioned it. Being either brown or black leather it blends in well with business attire as well. I highly recommend it.

Mean Gene makes a solid product – no doubt. In fact, we own one and carried it for some time. The high quality build and leather construction give it a nice, stiff structure which is great for on-belt carry (original design intent). We wanted more control over the stiffness/rigidity though, a more malleable structure to conform to pockets which is our preferred carry method. More details on the background of our design here:
