  1. Very interesting Tech. Wonder how much humidity in ones locale it takes to produce 5gal a day?

According to Exaeris’ COO, Mike Joyce, his company’s device is the only system that can produce several gallons of fresh water daily using a small, 18” x” 24” piece of hardware about the size of a cooler, that weighs only 30 lbs. The technology recovers moisture from the air when the ambient humidity is at or greater than 20 percent. The AcquaTap runs on house battery, solar, or shore power, and produces up to five gallons per day.

Very cool (excuse the pun) also I’m guessing it would also act like an air con

This could be the future for many folks around the world, isn’t it interesting how the supposed military and industrial world keep coming up with ways to save the world.

rob c – Price? Not worth moaning about – this is very cool kit, very cool life-sustaining-kit that would pay for itself over a short course of usage. Start saving.

So this is a fancy dehumidifier?

    • Burdy says:

Not sure why but I know you cannot drink the grey water from a dehumidifier and I don’t know about yours, but mine sure doesnt pull in 5 gallons a day. If this thing works as advertised, $2500 is a steal.
