Well, that didn’t take long.
Gaston was quite simply an excellent pragmatic-er.. he set the trade space for striker fired simplicity, and deserves kudos.
However, in typical euro-engineer fashion, no feedback from top tier end users (ergos, etc.) was desired.
As a former operator, then biz guy.. I appreciate the early engineering wins and durable biz market segmentation.
They gained the first mover placement and didn’t realize the second mover advantage
He raised the bar and standards as to how 9mm handguns are judged. Truly remarkable.
