Sword & Plough – Small Business Big Game

Sword & Plough

Sword & Plough is a fashion business founded by two sisters raised at West Point, with one of the sisters currently serving as an officer in the US Army. They repurpose military surplus material into US made bags, pack, and accessories, with their products helping to employ Veterans through their suppliers. Additionally, Sword & Plough donates 10% of their profits to Veteran support organizations.

Sword & Plough is in the final 10 of a group of contestants in the Small Business Big Game contest, sponsored by Intuit Quickbooks. The winner of the contest, chosen by public votes, will be the focus of a Super Bowl commercial held by Intuit.

Supported them about two years ago when they were a start-up on Kick start. The large hand bag my wife got is super durable, carries her professional camera equipment everywhere. The leather is top quality and their products are exceptional, looks as good today as when new.

“Sword and Plough”? Sounds like my honeymoon!

Seriously, great to see a company see a need and capitalize on it. More power to em.

I’ve bought several items for my wife as well. Quality is top notch and great customer service.
