Dang it, Fudd. Can’t you just wait until I’m done? There are more pressing matters than brass right now.

  2. PPGMD says:

I believe in Texas that shooting brass rats like that is a justified use of deadly force. I’m not sure if it is a law, or if the grand juries just say “Yep, he had it coming.”

  3. Ving Thorr says:

Sorry guys, I am that guy. Nah, I’m more like an Afghan. I wait till you jump in your truck to leave and then I literally appear from the dirt and start greedily scrounging your precious brass. At least I don’t make it into a genie lamp and sell it back to you, insisting that it’s “bah-ronz, my friend, solid bah-ronz”

  4. Rob says:

At least he asked, unlike the little twerp with the dillon brass rake following you at IPSC matches, stealing up the brass like a racoon.

    • Captain 'Merica says:

Ever had him hit your ankles with that fucking thing because he was literally tailgating you while you ran a stage?

I’m not sure who’s worse: that twerp or the RO who allows it.

  5. Linz says:

    Hahahahaha!
    In my country most reload.
You want brass rats? There are ranges here where the staff claim ‘mineral rights’ to your brass one it its the ground. Had one complain because he burnt his fingers while filching a fresh fired .308

  6. AGL Bob says:

In Korea the kids would come from behind the berm and dig out the lead during lulls in firing.

  7. PTMcCain says:

    Absolutely happens….

When one of the brass hounds at our gun club actually came into the shooting pit I was using and started grabbing brass while I was shooting I simply stopped, turned to him and said, “I’m pretty new at this and don’t know much about shooting. I’m afraid I am accidentally going to shoot you if you stay here picking up brass. You might want to leave now.”

    He left.

  8. Squirrel says:

I don’t mind the brass rats too bad…the douche that was mining for lead in the berm and wouldn’t leave when I got to the range made me mad…he even had a sifting rig made with an ammo can and just pretended he didn’t see me. I should have pretended I didn’t see him either…

  9. Stefan S. says:

Or the guy is a retired CSM who can’t live without a police call.
