I currently work on a project in order to restaure this “beast”…
On the left side of the picture, you can see another Sherman ! In the same place, there is 2 wrecks of M3 Stuart, 2 different types of Sherman and the wreck of a M24 Chaffee.

Wow, an amazing photo. Wonder how many more historic relics are around in tbose forests?
There is a lot of stuff in European woods that nobody has ever found and that have been forgotten after the war.
You can even stumble over ammo just lying around.
They just found a 500 lbs WW2 bomb in Vienna.
