Colonial Flag Company

Yesterday, I took my sons to Colonial Shooting Academy Virginia Beach. While there, I noticed a display for a local, Veteran owned business named Colonial Flag Company.

They offer a wide variety of options, including customization.

Would be nice if they had a real website so I could order one.

The normal full color flag is my American flag.

Adding stuff to the US flag or recoloring it in ways that promote particular causes or groups is not my thing. I personally think it is poor taste to do so.

I am probably in the minority though. Maybe I just need to ‘Merica harder.

Concur, we have a “subdued” blue line flag in our squad room, and some of our guys wear them on their kit, but it does strike me as a well-intentioned wrong.

Maybe I’m a bad ‘Merican, but I also think that they aren’t strictly necessary on LE uniforms and vehicles. I already swore my oath to uphold the Constitution and don’t need to deconflict with other nations. In general I like to keep the bling to a minimum on cop uniforms, even though the one I’m required by state law to wear is kinda gaudy.
