The EOD Memorial Foundation and the Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation have merged to form the new EOD Warrior Foundation to support the EOD community. The EOD Warrior Foundation honors fallen EOD warriors and provides assistance to wounded EOD warriors and the families of wounded and fallen EOD personnel.

“The joining together of these organizations that are so committed to supporting the EOD community will help ensure that we can honor and serve our nation’s EOD warriors, as well as the family members of our wounded and fallen warriors who all placed themselves in harm’s way to ensure our freedom,” said Ken Falke, chairman of the EOD Warrior Foundation and a retired U.S. Navy EOD Technician. “We are proud to serve these individuals, and we are confident that by combining the resources of these two outstanding organizations, we will be able to grow, evolve and increase our overall capacity to support what we like to call the EOD family.”

The Foundation’s mission is to support the EOD community by providing financial assistance and support to wounded, injured and ill EOD warriors as well as to the families of wounded and fallen EOD technicians and to maintain the EOD Memorial Wall in honor of fallen EOD heroes. The Foundation’s assistance includes grant awards, scholarships and additional supports such as morale-boosting events, peer-to-peer support and educational programs. The EOD Memorial Wall is located at the Eglin Air Force Base, in Eglin, FL and carries the names of EOD technicians who have been killed in the line of duty since War World II.

“The EOD community is supported by a network of EOD family and friends dedicated to honoring and caring for our EOD warriors and their families,” said Nicole Motsek, executive director of the EOD Warrior Foundation. “The EOD Warrior Foundation is very grateful to the many volunteers and individuals whose contributions make it possible for us to honor our fallen EOD warriors and serve EOD families throughout the country.”

The EOD Warrior Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which is supported by donations and fundraising events held throughout the year by volunteers.
