This Says A Mouthful

IMG_6968.JPG

Jim Hodge shared this on the Hodge Defense Systems Instagram feed. It says a lot. The IO campaign is just as today as 30 years ago. And I fear, we are losing it. Up is down, left is right, black is white and the increasing access to information adds to the confusion.

People don’t know how to vet what they read and hear. They are misinformed, daily, by forces that want them confused.

For a good look into this subject, check out “Disinformation” by Ion Pacepa. Written by highest ranking Soviet-bloc defector, covers the absolutely massive disinformation campaigns of the KGB and satellite services.

We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the America public believes is false. (William Casey. Dir CIA)

Ashamed to say that I was not familiar with that quote. Thanks for posting.

The very nature of most IO Campaigns doom them to short-term successes and long-term, abject failure. For those interested in the beginnings of the modern era of this sort of thing, it all starts with the Committee on Public Information…

Regarding the quoted bit in the OP, The date speaks volumes: Senior… er, Echelon in DoD knew as far back as the mid-60s that the USSR wasn’t going to be able to keep it going. Reagan got impatient and decided to shave a decade off the process by setting money on fire via Star Wars projects.

To the extent there is something that could be called a success, Brezhnev bought into our nonsense, followed by Andropov, Chernenko, Gromyko, and to a lesser extent Gorbachev, all getting stuck maintaining an even strain.

I guess an obvious question is, which communists was Kelly referring to: Eastern Bloc, or the Americas?

  4. Desert Lizard says:

Communist governments have hugely subverted the American population. Their mark can be seen in our politicians’ beliefs, lessons taught in our schools, themes in our children’s cartoons, themes in our movies, and allegiances and motivations of most of our main TV news writers.

They are beating us by changing our culture, one generation at a time, until it’s complete.

Please provide some specific examples. Thanks.

I would love to see… you know… evidence from reputable sources. Which is usually a good follow up for statements like yours.

I regretfully live in massachusetts, I for one can say its borderline socialist here, 2A all most doesnt exist here anymore, read about police chief discretion into FID cards here now and tell me thats not total B.S. plus all the other crap gun laws, “continued assault weapons ban” 10 rd mags, featureless rifles as if it makes a difference?!?!?

          • Uncomon Sense says:

“,featureless rifles as if it makes a difference?!?!?” It does indeed make a difference. How many people do you see running carbine courses with firearms other than those patterned after military rifles? Not very many. Though if you were to attend a carbine class by a former 18B, he would show you how to make the most of a bolt gun or lever gun. The 2nd Amendment is militaristic by it’s very nature. Our opponents aim to take away like features similar to what the military uses in an effort to pacify gun owners. A man who owns a mil-spec sporting rifle who modifies his firearm to keep in accordance with state law ( no pistol grip, bullet button in place of a mag release, no flash hider or railed hand guard ) is exactly what our opponents want. A man who follows orders, lawful/unlawful, constitutional/unconstitutional poses no threat to their agenda or the carrying out of that agenda. Such a man will oblige until doing so would be at odds with his very way of life or living of life. They aim to soften the hearts and minds so that the body to becomes soft and offers no resistance. Believe me brother, it makes a world of difference, their world.

Read Disinformation. So many examples in there. However, you have to believe the author. He provides referencable information that can be checked, and most of what I can find corroborates his statements. Case in point – the Soviet smear of the Catholic Church, and the KGB’s document that has sparked hatred of Jews worldwide – The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

    • Trajan says:

Considering that was written in 1903…15 years before the Cheka was formed.

Anti-Communists in the first half of the 20th century were often anti-Semitic due to the perceived heavy hand that Jewish people played in Communism.

      • RJ says:

You’re right, I was trying to bang out something quickly. The short version is that they resurrected it and used it in a series of campaigns designed to not only spark anti-Semitism around the world, but also tied their version to several attempts on print and stage to paint the pontiff as complicit with the Nazi’s in their efforts to kill Jews. So, no, they didn’t write it, but it was a propaganda tool of theirs. Thanks for pointing that out, the end result is still the same however in that the Soviets had been engaged in “social engineering” campaigns to affect views that were favorable to their movement.

  6. Uncomon Sense says:

“People don’t know how to vet what they read and hear. They are misinformed, daily, by forces that want them confused.” By and large, the majority of people are taught what to think rather than how to think, how to be skeptical and critical. The encroachment of tyranny by socialists is constant and ever so slightly gaining momentum; furthered by those who think in ways championed by the socialists.

They’re panning out to be fascists, not commies. It was the perfect plan…get everyone focused on redistribution while they all stuff their pockets in the background.

Best news post ever on SS.

We are so used to marxist systems that we no longer look upon them as alien. And most of us do not grasp the evil anti human, long term effects of this but only to the short term benefits these marxist systems bring.

Pretty much all the objectives in the Communist Manifesto are achieved.

The human race is in grave danger.
