Position Summary…

What you’ll do…

As the Manager, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives Compliance, you will be responsible for managing the consistency of compliance and ethics primarily in the areas of firearms and ammunition by responding to compliance questions and issues; identifying, reporting, and addressing compliance gaps and concerns; and drafting and updating policies and standard operating procedures with input from leadership.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Supporting the development and maintenance of MSR Distribution’s firearms compliance standards and procedures by reacting to relevant changes in laws and policy.

• Coordinating the regulatory contact process.

• Managing the legislation assessment strategy by reviewing research on relevant proposed legislation and determining potential impacts on business area.

• Supporting the development of corporate positions on various overarching issues by reconciling research into refined messages for review.

• Maintaining the Acquisitions and Dispositions (A&D) bound book

You’ll be in the top of the candidate pack if:

• You have experience building and supporting programs to drive enhanced execution and compliance.

• You have a solid track record of delivering operational efficiencies and improvements utilizing data.

• You are strategic, influential, and progressive with the ability to translate business challenges into actionable solutions in a complex, rapidly evolving environment.

• You have experience working in a regulated industry and interacting with regulatory or law enforcement officials.

• You are action-oriented, resourceful, and approachable while also having the ability to influence and lead change, based on your experience and network.

Minimum Qualifications…

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Project Management, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 2 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.

Note:

• Candidates must reside within the Las Vegas, NV area or be willing to relocate

• Must possess a valid state motor vehicle operator license and a clean driving record

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
