Team TCB finishes Baja 1000

Congratulations to Team TCB at Race for the Wounded for completing the 2012 Baja 1000. Team TCB consists of Veterans from the Army, Navy, and Marines that banded together to race Baja in order to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. This year’s Baja 1000 had the highest attrition rate in history and yet, Team TCB finished 2nd in their class with a time of 43 hours.

These guys are amazing. Members literally just started riding last year and would practice between deployments as contractors in order to refine their skills.

We also want to mention that our friends at Combat Flip Flops are a proud sponsor of Team TCB. To help Team TCB hit their $50,000 donation goal, Combat Flip Flops is donating $20 for every pair of Flip Flops sold to Team TCB between now and Christmas. I still can’t believe we even finished…let alone make the podium. We can’t thank Combat Flip Flops enough for their support. This is only the beginning for RaceForThewounded. Our goal is to help wounded vets get back behind the wheel or back in the saddle and race off-road. This Baja 1000 finish is, hopefully, just the beginning of a way for us to give back to our wounded brothers and sisters.
