Sneak Peek – Tactical Tailor Universal Knife Sheath

20130516-211515.jpg

Tactical Tailor showed me their new Universal Knife Sheath. It features an injection molded insert to contain the blade which can be removed and is held in place in the fabric carrier via a tab in the rear. But that isn’t the only new molded piece here. The MALICE clips are a new model sized specifically for this project. You will also notice the resin impreganted nylon backer. Expect to start seeing this on all TT pouches in the future.

Nice, but why couldnt use the same size MALICE clips,to make replacment easy.

      Sam,
The Malice clips are the same sized as the Small malice clips you are used to. We are revamping the Malice clip to address the issues that Mr Walsh has in the below comment, these are very close to being done and will allow retrofit of any pouch that takes the small clip.

      Cheers

malice clips ruined it, would be nice to see a fast removal option, kinda like what sam said

  5. Victor says:

Does it have a friction or other retention device in the sheath throat or is the only retention the snap strap?

Looks good and very clean and simple, very good attributes for a piece of field gear.
