This trailer details the function of the TrackingPoint system. The trailer had a production time of 11 months and was written, directed, and produced by Travis Getz, authenticity coordinator of Getz Solutions. You’ve seen his work on several video games. The visuals were created by award-winning CG house Plastic Wax with audio by game industry audio designer Justin Drust.

    Interesting. I had not seen the hand held spotting scope able to tag targets for the sniper before. That’s rather excellent.

      You still need skill. The more skilled you are, the less time it takes to ‘line up the shot’. If you gave this to a trained marksman, and an amateur, the trained marksman will get rounds downrange FASTER, every single time.

      The difference is that BOTH shooters will have rounds on target.

      I think we all know what kind of a difference to a tactical situation a few seconds can mean. Training will still be required. This just removes the ability to make a mistake.
