July 4th, The Birth Of A Nation

20130703-205933.jpg

Although the Continental Congress voted on July 2nd to declare independence from Great Britain and the Declaration itself was not actually signed until 2 August, we celebrate this day as the birthdate of this great Nation. The actual wording of the Declaration was approved on this date in 1776, putting to paper what was already happening as the 13 colonies fought for independence.

The The only thing your country lacks is a decent KING!.. At least we Dutch sold you New Amsterdam for a bargain!

We have no need of a King… for a King can become corrupt with power, and thereby become a tyrant… and in my home state, our motto is “Sic Semper Tyrannis” …. Death always to Tyrants.

And elected officials and political parties can’t bocome corrupt? Really? Where does that happen?
The title of the head of state doesn’t guarantee anything, good or bad. Our Queen can be removed by Parliament and the Queen can also remove the Prime Minister. I have more respect for our Queen than just about any cuurent politicians or party.
You need mechanisims to remove a poor head of state or any other institution for that matter, before failsafe option 2A becomes needed. If you need to impliment failsafe option 2A your country will truely be fucked in the end! That last comment should be taken both ways. I’m not saying to do away with 2A, quite the opposite. Keep it, embrace it. But for it to be an effective political tool you must do so in a very professional way with responsibility and respect. Just because someone is a big poser doesn’t mean they are a credible threat just maybe a little dangerous. But not taken seriously.
Be taken seriously be resposible and demand quality, respect, honesty, truth and not rhetoric or posing from the leadership.
