Richard Childress Racing recently ran the #62 car at the Virginia 529 College Savings 250. The car, the South Point Hotel & Casino USAF CCT tribute car, was a Chevy Camaro decked out in MultiCam and Combat Control imagery.

    Just so everyone knows, this was done at the expense of Brendan and Michael Gaughan with Richard Childress. The Gaughan’s own the South Point Casino and are huge supporters of the military. Multicam, graciously got on board to make the car look right. The gold stars are in honor of the Combat Controllers that paid the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan. No funds came from USAF OR CCT. This is just good folks doing good things. Probably well over 200K in free sponsorship. Oh, and the car was bad ass!
