Compared to my Glock 17 Generation 3, the Firing Pin Safety is shaped differently. Also, the Ejector looks like it has two angles on it as opposed to one on the Generation 3.

    • Yeah, that Firing Pin Safety is just like the one on the G43.

      • MidGasFan says:

Yup, looks like an enlarged G43. I’m wondering what will be backwards compatible like triggers, connectors, mag catch, firing pin, springs, barrel, etc.

To me, it looks like the best parts of all three generations together with the better grip bumps, lack of finger grooves(FINALLY) and an accessory rail.

        I’ll be wanting a G19M MOS as well as a G34 or G35M MOS.

I’m happy Glock has realized that more folks dislike the finger grooves than like them. I’ve also seen some pictures and heard some rumors that front cocking sessions may be

Whoops, hit submit too soon! Cocking serrations may be coming from the factory, too, with any luck.

To be fair, I think this is more of “we need to take of the finger grooves to win the contract with the FBI”, and less of “the consumers don’t like them, we should take them off”.

But I’m with you, I’d like to see them do more in the M line.

I sincirerly hope whomever is issued that sidearm doesn’t suffer any blowback from these pictures circulating. Always happy to see updates on the M series.

    Photo clearly says “19M”

The ambi slide lock/release looks like a substantial single piece . With that kind of thickness and the shape it shouldn’t have the right side flex that troubles some designs . Really like to take a better look at how it fits under the locking block, assuming just the rear pin as a pivot, but there’s more going on there.

Factory Glocks are already being sold with the front serrations. I have handled an “M” series and the rep said they will be making more models available without the finger groves soon.
