Don’t you think it’s kinda weird to host an instructor who is literally still on probation for drunkenly shooting his brother in law?

    • Jack says:

Does this really matter? When does one come back after a fall? Should we cast them into a pit and forget them? Or you could consider the teleology of training with a person to gain a skill regardless of their previous actions. Regardless, I doubt you’ll attend regardless of who is instructing.

    • Louis Reich says:

Chuck has a knowledge base that a lot of people want to learn more about. They are willing to pay good money to do so. The companies sponsoring and the host have determined that he’s welcome to instruct at this event. I personally am looking forward to his block of instruction. Also posting critisism under a false name, takes a lot away from whatever your point might have been.

Sure, if you’re petty and can’t see forest for trees.

Are you looking for a kindergarten teacher or a shooting instructor? People have flaws, vices, and make mistakes. Get over it and/or train elsewhere.

    • Jamie R says:

I doubt any of the other instructors have any issue with it, so should you?

    • Joe_K says:

Where do these people come from? Have you met Chuck? Listened to anything he’s put out online? Read anything he’s written? It’s pretty easy to look down your nose at someone that’s made a mistake that, “I would/could never do that” well Chuck has paid his debt to society, and then some, had his rights restored, and got back on a good path, we talk a lot about helping out our Military Men and Women, but some of the “Patriots”do the most harm to the cause by sitting in the Peanut Gallery and booing instead of figuring out how to help out.

  2. Marcus says:

Great group and looks like an excellent event.

We don’t get anything close to that in the Northeast. Along with our rights, the top instructors have mostly abandoned us.

    • Jon, OPT says:

OTOA, Alliance (also Ohio) “Friends of Pat” in August, CT SWAT challenge; all events where a depth of knowledge is shared, though not all do it in the same way as this event. It may not be the outer reaches of the NE, but both are within a drive-able distance.

  3. Garin says:

It would be worth the price alone to sit around with those guys at the end of the day and listen to the shit talk that will go down.

    • Matthew says:

I know Blowers alone will have you laughing so hard you can skip ab’s for a week.
