Kyle Defoor on the S&S Precision Sling Clip

S&S Precision Developed the Sling Clip to enhance the versatility of the sling. Designed to work with a 1″ sling, the Sling Clip allows you to quickly reconfigure a single point sling into a two point mode for movement. Kyle Defoor does a great job of explaining how it works as well as the benefits.

To purchase yours, find an S&S Distributor.

    He’s wearing an S&S shirt too

  2. Chris says:

    I know they already make one, but a very minor variation on this concept would make for a very serviceable weapons catch as well. Reading about S&S releases is really fun because those guys are way outside the box on everything they do.

    I must be missing something. What does this do that a sling like the Magpul MS2 and MS3 slings don’t already do? Especially in combination with an RSA.

  4. Administrator says:

    Chris,

    It serves as a weapons catch in that it can be used to quickly clip to a belt or webbing.

    Ian,

    The sling remains primarily a single point unless pulled forward and attached through the Sling Clip. It’s quick.

    All,

    Slings are very much a personal thing with lots of great versions out there. At this point, we like the VCAS from BFG but we can definitely see the utility of many others out there. Think of this as another tool in the toolbox. What might be right for some, may not work for others.

    Well the concept is pretty cool. It might save me money from having to buy a new sling except their products retail on average for over 150 bucks, including this tiny, little, rail piece. It was cool, til I saw the price tag.

    @Craig
    Agreed. I was all set the purchase one until I saw the price tag. $120??? Seriously??? I was expecting $40 – $50 MAX. S&S, I am disappoint 🙁
