DSPTCH Camera Wrist Strap

We were alerted to this camera wrist strap by DSPTCH. It’s a good looking item and an excellent concept. In fact, we’re surprised no one has done it before. Since it loops back through itself it is adjustable for the whole gamut of wrist sizes. Just be careful, your wrist is going to give long before that braided 550. But, the handy SR buckle should break away before you do. Available in Olive, Black, and Coyote.

Thanks NH for the heads up!

    What’s the weight limit ??

    • Administrator says:

550 cord, depending on the type can support 95 lbs to 750 lbs per strand.

A buckle like that I would guess is probably rated at 20 lbs or so.

yeah but the thinner strings between the buckle and the camera make it’s overall strength a lot less than 95 lbs. – but if you’re carrying a camera that weighs more than 95 lbs… well you have some different problems.

    • I see what you mean but... says:

No dumbass, it’s in case your camera gets caught on something moving very quickly in a different direction than your wrist.
