Seriously? I hate to be a buzz kill but you can buy 2ea cord locks for .75 each and tie an overhand knot in the free ends and achieve this for a lot less. An ass for every saddle as the saying goes.

  2. John says:

Anyone know if there are any regulations against these?

  3. Colt says:

I’m not sure if there are regs against them, but I’m in the army and I have been doing this with cord locks for like 2 years and have never had it questioned. If your boots are bloused unless your sitting down you can’t tell the difference.

  4. Stefan S says:

Been doing this for years. Nothing new.

  5. Bob says:

Did this too with overhand knot ends. Along with 550 cord laces, and no one ever noticed. The Cord end is a nice touch though.

for those of you who have been doing this for a while, how well do they stay tight? sand/mud/dust cause problems?
