Kommando Special – International Edition #1

We’ve long been fans of German language magazine “Kommando.” Much to our surprise that we would run across a new International edition of the magazine sitting on the news stand during our weekly visit to Barnes & Noble. According to the cover it looks to be a Quarterly publication and is very well put together. It gives the feel of a high end trade publication (which it is) and is filled with over 100 pages of color photographs of German small arms as well as the military and police units that use them. This premier issue looks to be weapons oriented but there is plenty for all students of tactical subjects contained in the text and photos.

It’s an excellent work and well worth the $9.90 cover price.

Saw it. Read it. Didn’t buy it though. Do I regret it? Not really, but I agree. It does contain some pretty cool stuff in it.

Nice! I’d heard that this was coming soon…

$40 may be much for a casual subscription, but at least a handful of people here should be able to write-off the cost on their tax return as a subscription to a professional journal.

Actually had the opportunity to read the Kommando International Edition. Well done and richly illustrated. The photography is excellent and the content superb. It’s always great when to can pick up a rag and learn a thing or two – definitely worth the price of admission.
