MSR is a huge supporter of the military and they really came through for us today with 11 of their Whisperlite Stoves.
Also, don’t forget, today’s winners as well as every other winner, will receive a 2012 Tac Girls Calendar. (Just the calendar, not any of the girls)

Beef Jerky
Beef stew mre
Kiwi ration C – Chilli beef and rice – as long as it’s heated up enough to melt the lumps of animal fat.
MREs love the snacks. Not so much on the main course.

Beef stew!

Chicken Pesto with Pasta
I like the old school MRE meal, I think it was Frankfurters? The package of like hotdogs (if you wanna call them that). I couldn’t eat the beef stew cause of the nasty fat globs of fat you’d get in there, made me wanna throw up when I’d get one of those blobs of fat in a bite lol.
I would have to say that my favorite field rations were/are US LRRP Rations or US Winter Rations.
I still like the C rations – not for carrying any distance though. And you could trade them to the German kids for schnitzel or cordon bleu sandwiches in the field.
Anything, so long as I’ve got my Tabasco!
