MSR is a huge supporter of the military and they really came through for us today with 11 of their Whisperlite Stoves.

    In Iraq the squeeze jalapeño cheese MRE was delicious. I even miss it now.

    My favorite field ratiton is the South Korean rice bowl style ration’s, tastier and lighter than the us mre’s, just add hot water!

    The old school dehydrated strawberries included in the first run of MREs has yet to be displaced as #1 in my field expedient cuisine book.

    Norwegian Field Rations, due to low weight and great taste!
    You need something to heat water though, but besides that, it’s the best!

    The new Chicken Pesto Pasta MRE. The main meal is pretty good, and if the MRE factory has obliged you with the correct ingredients, you can make a Key Lime Pie. Delicious!

    Peanutbutter and crackers because they are both shelf stable and will travel in a cargo pocket when you can’t stop to eat a real meal.
